Homeowners Associations (HOA) & Condominium Associations and apartment complexes have many people coming and going and often need a way to manage traffic. With the rising cost of security guards, SafePassage Virtual Remote Guard continues to increase in popularity as a low-cost, customizable solution to help control traffic. SafePassage Virtual Remote Guards are compatible with communities that want to keep live guards at the gate during certain hours but would like to save money and increase efficiency by potentially using virtual guards during non-peak hours. Virtual guards can be used in combination with live guards to help offset costs or can be used 24/7 as a means of controlling traffic without the presence of a live guard.

SafePassage Virtual Remote Guards are highly flexible and can follow specialized instructions or post orders for each location. For example, large trucks could be blocked from entering the community on certain days; visitors could be asked to park on certain sides of the street during certain parts of the calendar year. Having and leveraging SafePassage Virtual Remote Guard is a great way to control your community’s traffic and enforce what’s important to you and your community!

The SafePassage Kiosk has two-way audio and one-way video to facilitate communication between visitors and virtual attendants. SafePassage Virtual Remote Guards will greet visitors and contact the resident when the visitor is not listed. During the validation process, our virtual remote guards keep their engagement short as the primary goal is to find the visitor in the system and allow the visitor entry. As part of this process, we ask to see the driver’s license to verify the visitor’s identity. Assuming the visitor has been found in the system, we add their license plate to their profile for future expedited entry. If the visitor has been approved for seven days, the visitor no longer must stop by the Kiosk; however, when the visitation period expires on the 8th day, the visitor will have to stop by the Kiosk for revalidation. Using our signature License Plate recognition system and optimized check-in process, we can quickly handle large volumes of visitor traffic efficiently and fast.

Cameras at the entrance record and video capture the face of the driver, vehicle, and license plate for guards to see license plates in real-time. This information is kept securely in the cloud’s centralized visitor management system. In case of criminal activities, the SafePassage Virtual Remote Guard system includes easy access to video and vehicle owner information in case authorities or insurance need it.
